Purpose: Bring the youth of the Church into a relationship with Jesus, connect them to God’s family, mature them in their faith, and equip them for ministry so that God’s name will be exalted.
Ephesians 2:22 says, “And in Him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.”
Our Church’s Youth Fellowship comprises of about 25 active members who meet every Sunday after the service. They have a brief Praise and Worship session followed by testimonies and sharing of the Lord’s message. This time is effectively utilized to discover God-given talents and develop them to build the Kingdom of God.
Our youth love to exalt God and worship him through singing. Psalm 92:1 says, “It is good to praise the LORD and make music to your name, O most High…” The youth group lead the Praise and Worship at 8:15 AM every Sunday before the commencement of the Morning Service. The evening service every 4th Sunday of the month is conducted by the Youth fellowship team. They take care of all activities during the service including sharing of the Lord’s message. It helps them to showcase their God-given talents and use them for the glory of our Lord.
The youth team unite as one body in Christ and involve themselves in all our church celebrations and activities. They help with church decorations during the festive seasons, organize stalls during Mission Festival and Harvest Festival to raise funds for the Missions organized by our Diocese and participate actively in the Outreach Programs organized by our Church. A Youth Retreat is planned once a year in our Church. Our youth also keep themselves equipped and trained to participate in youth retreats and competitions conducted by various other churches.
